Welcome!
Thank you for visiting St. Thecla’s parish website. We’re in the midst of a rebrand and are updating content and layout; please bear with us as we do.
Our parish is a vibrant community of Orthodox Christians from a variety of backgrounds and walks of life, united by our shared commitment to worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ according to the Faith once delivered unto the Saints (Jude 1:3). We are a parish of the Eastern American Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR); our ruling hierarch is His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York. We are also part of the broader Eastern Orthodox Church, which in total numbers some 250 million Christians worldwide and is present in a multitude of countries and on every continent.
While the parish is first and foremost the focal point of our worship of the One God in Trinity, it is also the arena within which we together strive to live a life in Christ according to His Commandments and in keeping with Holy Tradition.
Please join us for a service and experience worship with an unbroken connection to the early Church; come and see!

What is the Orthodox Church?
“The Orthodox Christian Church is evangelical, but not Protestant.
It is orthodox, but not Jewish. It is catholic, but not Roman.
It is not denominational, it is pre-denominational.
It has believed, taught, preserved, defended, and died for the
Faith of the Apostles since the Day of Pentecost nearly 2,000 years ago.”
